Giving the 110 year old Totara villa a new life.
Relocated from Maramarua to Waihi Beach in the early 80’s by a well known local family, the house was sold in 2009 and given a new lease on life. Run down, unloved and in need of some serious work, a full gut and redesign to its structure, layout and services has produced a transformation into a modern family home while still keeping all the original features.

Making the most of the sun’s path, the original sash windows were replaced with large French doors. Internal walls were removed to create large open plan areas, and a strong colour palette of black, white and grey was applied throughout the 5 bedroom home.
